On Sunday 5 September 2021, a team of SJL runners took part in the Worcester City 10k Run. The event, which pulled in more than 5,000 participants over the weekend, saw Paula Radcliffe and Steve Cram pounding the City streets. With a family event, junior race, 10km and half Marathon options, there really was something to suit everyone.
Jodi Brandwood SJL Foundation Fundraising Manager said; “We love the Worcester City 10k Run! It felt great to ease ourselves back into mass participation events and fundraising in general, given so many had to close last year due to the pandemic. The run really is fantastic for the City and we are already looking forward to putting a team in for 2022.”
