SJL Introducer scheme Photo credit: Olga DeLawrence

Many of you refer people to SJL Insurance Services to get their insurance quoted by us, but did you know that your business can apply to become an official SJL Introducer Scheme Appointed Representative (IAR) and you can earn an extra income from it? Any type of business could apply including limited companies, LLPs, PLCs, sole traders and people who file their own self-assessment form every year.

SJL Insurance Services will allocate an account and business development manager to assist you with setting your business up as a referrer and guide you through it to see if you qualify in becoming an IAR.

Once setup as an official SJL IAR and the customer you refer proceeds with our insurance cover, we’ll reward you with commission based on the premium paid at the commencement or renewal of the policy at a high rate. Not only will you get a high rate in year one, but also every other year the client stays with us. This means that you would get a passive income stream of revenue in the following years too that the client stays with us.

That can accumulate to a lot of money over time. The table below is an example of how the commission is worked out.
